Armenian-Iranian Bilateral Trade Relations were Discussed
On November 22, the President of the Republican Union of Employers of Armenia, Vahagn Hambardzumyan, hosted Ms. Sepideh Akbarpour Tajrishi, the Commercial Attaché of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Armenia.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the prospects for expanding Armenian-Iranian business ties, as well as the specific features and opportunities for the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries.
The importance of enhancing close links between the private sectors of Armenia and Iran as well as boosting collaboration in the field of trade services was emphasized by both parties during the meeting. In this context, the discussion also included planning joint business-to-business (B2B) events aimed at fostering business collaboration through exhibitions, business forums, and study visits in both the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Armenia.
The parties confirmed their willingness to hold more working meetings in order to carry out the agreements reached for extending business ties and to establish a more favorable environment for strengthening bilateral cooperation in the trade and economic sectors, acknowledging the importance of efficiently utilizing the potential and opportunities of both countries.

30-04-2021On 30 April 2021, three RUEA representatives attended a meeting on the progress of the “Resource Saving and Clean Production” (RSCP) component of the “EU for the Environment” program. The main purpose of the meeting was to demonstrate the possible application of RSCP practices based on food / agriculture, construction materials and chemical industry, as well as to receive suggestions on partnership opportunities with other interested organizations.
