On June 25, the Republican Union of Employers of Armenia (RUEA) launched a new capacity-building program aimed at enhancing the skills of its member organizations. The program is designed to improve members’ business management competencies, financial literacy, and practical skills in the effective application of artificial intelligence tools in business processes.
The initiative is implemented with the support of the International Labour Organization (ILO) within the framework of the ILO initiative “Building the Capacity of Constituents to Pre-empt the Informalisation of Work and Promote the Transition to Formality in the Context of a Refugee Crisis.”
RUEA Executive Director Lilit Adamyan welcomed the participants and noted that this program presents a unique opportunity for the Union members to jointly build a new culture of business development, equipped with modern knowledge, skills, and innovative solutions. She emphasized that the program was developed in response to current business challenges and forthcoming trends and requirements.
The program consists of 16 sessions, developed in close collaboration with RUEA member organizations:
- Samvel Gevorgyan, Founding Director of BSC Business Support Center
- Soghomon Mirzoyan, President of the Association of Armenian Financiers NGO
- Shavarsh Karapetyan, Co-founder of AI Academy
The first session, led by Samvel Gevorgyan, focused on the topic “Strategic Planning in Times of Uncertainty.” During the training, participants were introduced to modern tools of strategic thinking and planning, as well as their application in ensuring the sustainable development of businesses. Special attention was also given to “failure marketing” approaches, which help turn setbacks into valuable experience and new opportunities.
The session included interactive discussions, analyses, and real business case studies, providing participants with practical knowledge they can apply in their own business activities.
